Andy  is an American artist and writer.  He is the author of over 16 graphic novels including THE TRAGIC TALE OF TURKEY BOY and WEREWOLVES OF WISCONSIN for McFarland Books. He is also the author of a series of How To Art Books from Quarto Publishing in England.

His last book was DRACULA'S ARMY  released Halloween 2013 from McFarland Books in North Carolina, and he is currently working on FREEKISH BLUES with Ken Abate and GEEKS AND GREEKS with actor/humorist Steve Altes.

Past graphic novels include FLY; A TRUE STORY COMPLETELY MADE UP,  JERRY CLAUS THE RETURN OF DARK SANTA and dozens of others.  All of which are available at your local library or through Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

His fine art and pop inspired paintings have been featured in galleries all over the world, including a sold out solo show in Boston and an upcoming show in London.

He has lectured all over the world, most recently in Tokyo Japan on the subject of comics and graphic novels.

He trained with Will Eisner, Jack Kirby and Paul Ryan-- all of them legends in the industry and attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.


He is an adjunct professor of Graphic Novel studies at Emerson College in Boston where he leads the Art of Comics, Illustrating the Graphic Novel, Producing the Graphic Novel and Advanced Illustration courses.

He is a former art professor at Mass College of Art and Design and faculty member of the Worcester Art Museum.
